Damage playbook
Setup & first fight
- Take an off-angle: high ground or a side spot near cover, so the enemy has to choose between watching you and watching your tank. Pick one you can leave quickly.
- Time flanks so they land as your tank engages. Going in alone or too deep is the most common way to die for nothing.
Mid-round
- Choose targets on purpose: supports and exposed or isolated heroes first, and join your team's focus instead of pouring damage into the front line.
- Pressure counts even without kills. Making supports heal and forcing out cooldowns opens the fight for everyone.
Ult tracking & regroup
- Damage ults do most when the enemy is bunched up or has just spent its support ult. If they have a save ready, bait it first or wait.
- Track a few enemy ultimates rather than all five: the one that wins fights and the one that saves them. Judge their charge from last fight's damage and healing and from how long ago they used it.
- Avoid stacking two ultimates to win one fight, especially into a counter you haven't baited. It leaves you behind for the next fight.
- After a lost fight, stop taking extra peeks. Back off, meet at one spot and go back in together, because trickling in one at a time loses the next fight too.
Overtime & last fight
- Overtime only holds while someone alive is actually on the objective (point, payload or robot). Standing near it doesn't count.
- In a round's final fight there is nothing left to save ultimates for, so use them freely.
